Embody Your Inner Hero: A 6-Week Journey of Yoga, Reflective Writing & Inspired Movement

Move from being a character in your life to becoming the author of your journey. Over six weeks, you’ll shed disempowering narratives and build a resilient physical and mental foundation. You’ll leave this series with a stronger yoga practice, a clearer sense of purpose, a defined 'quest,' and unwavering belief in your own worthiness to thrive.

By the end of this series, you will:

·         Master Progressive Asana: Build a safe and powerful physical practice, progressing from foundational Warrior poses to the balance and grace of the 5-Point Star and Dancer.

·         Reframe Your Personal Narrative: Identify and transform disempowering thoughts through guided weekly writing prompts and self-reflection.

·         Harness 'Movement as Meditation': Learn to use rhythmic, continuous movement (walking, cycling, etc.) as a tool to clear mental clutter and unlock creative insights.

·         Identify Your Inner Circle: Clarify your current life "quest" and identify the allies and resources—both internal and external—available to support you.

  • Develop Resourcefulness: Create a personal toolkit of affirmations and creative strategies to overcome obstacles and navigate transitions with confidence.

This series is for you if you want to deepen your yoga practice and explore the possibilities for self-growth that can spring from a practice of mindful, intentional movement and taking an active role in the creation and sharing of your story.

We'll meet online on Saturdays from February 7-March 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST/CDT. (Daylight Savings time starts March 8!)

Because I am committed to making this accessible to everyone who can benefit from it, I'm offering it on a pay-what-you-can model, with a suggested investment of $89.00. I donate 10 percent of every sale to Hopestream Community, so your contribution not only supports my work, but benefits moms of kids who struggle with mental health and substance use isses.

FAQs:

  • Do I need to be an experienced or advanced yogi for this series? No, the yoga practices in this class will be suitable for all levels. I'll offer modifications, when appropriate. You are always in charge of what you do with your body.

  • How long will each weekly class last? Each class will be approximately 75-90 minutes and will include some sharing and discussion to enhance our opportunities for growth and for building allies, as well as a yoga practice.

  • How much time will I need to spend on "homework" outside of class? This is really up to you. I will send a short thinking/writing prompt and an invitation to engage in some rhythmic movement of your choice on your own. The time you spend moving can be as long or as short as seems appropriate for you, and you can do it once or several times during the week (or not at all, since you are in charge of your body). Your written reflection could be one sentence or several pages, depending on how the prompt engages you.

  • What if my reflective writing feels too private to share? While sharing our stories can be powerful and can help build a sense of community, no one ever has to share anything that feels too private. Be assured, that this is a safe, supportive and confidential environment.
